We meet at Shoalwater Bay Trailhead.
Let’s all break out our our craziest socks and/or shirts!
I’ll have a prize for the student who out does everyone. i.e. you can’t help but smile (laugh) if you look at their shirt.
Today’s goal – Have fun.
Practice plan:
*Preride talk: Ride safety/Pacing
HS Group 1: 90 min casual pace ride
MS Group 2: 90min casual pace ride
HS/MS mixed – Group 3: 60-90 min – casual social ride, review of skills on trail (slower pace, with more breaks, and more fun)
*Bike Games – (limbo, slow race, other team building games)
Reminders: If you are not registered in PitZone, you will need a signed waiver on file.
Coaches: RSVP at least a week in advance
Riders: RSVP no later than 48 hours to guarantee spot.
Please come to practice prepared (see Team Rider Checklist in “Documents” for complete listing)
Mountain bike that is ready to ride (ABCDE)
Helmet, Closed toe shoes
Tube, Tools, Pump
Water and snack
Extra Clothes (jacket/arm warmers)
Hand Sanitizer
Medication for self administration (inhalers, epi pens)
PPE such as Masks or other face covering (i.e. for mechanical, first aid assistance).
Coaches (only) Disposable gloves for mechanical, first aid assistance (required for coaches)
Parents – 2 or 3 to bring snacks (see duty roster)
