We meet at Shoalwater Bay Trailhead. This is NOT the TH right off of 140, which is South Ridge TH. Every year, someone goes to that railhead, and not Shoalwater TH.

Today’s goal – Have fun and get to know your teammates

Practice plan:
*Stretch
*Preride talk: Ride safety/Pacing
HS Group 1: 90 min casual pace ride
MS Group 2: 90min casual pace ride
HS/MS mixed – Group 3: 90 min – casual social ride, review of skills on trail (slower pace, with more breaks)
How groups are organized is dependent on number of coaches and riders who RSVP.

*Bike Games – (limbo, slow race, other team building games)

Reminders: If you are not registered in PitZone, you will need a signed waiver on file.
Coaches: RSVP at least a week in advance
Riders: RSVP no later than 48 hours to guarantee spot.

Everyone must come to practice prepared (see Team Rider Checklist in “Documents” for complete listing)
Mountain bike that is ready to ride (ABCD)
Helmet, Closed toe shoes
Tube, Tools, Pump
Water and snack
Extra Clothes (jacket/arm warmers)
Hand Sanitizer
Medication for self administration (inhalers, epi pens)
PPE such as Masks or other face covering (i.e. for mechanical, first aid assistance).
Coaches (only) Disposable gloves for mechanical, first aid assistance (required for coaches)

Student-Athletes and Coaches cannot share equipment, water, or food.
Parents – 2 or 3 to bring snacks (see duty roster)
