Practice plan:
*Stretch-when you arrive (lunges/inch-worms)
*Preride talk: Bike check ABCDE / Rider Expectations (code of conduct)
*Skill work: Bike 101 Fundamentals -Review shifting, Cadence, Body positioning/Braking
*Casual group ride – different groups based on skill/experience and age group levels
*Bike Games
*Post Ride Discussion – Team culture

Reminders: If you are not registered in PitZone, you will need a signed waiver on file.
Coaches: RSVP at least a week in advance
Riders: RSVP no later than 48 hours to guarantee spot (since preseason events are open to the public, I can’t restrict the access groups. Parents – if you are RSVP’ing for your teen, make sure you do it under their name, not yours)

Please start having your teen, if they have access to a phone and/or internet, get them in the habit of RSVP’ing for themselves, and be responsible for reading the scheduled rides and events. We expect ALL teens to be responsible for themselves, and to learn to be self reliant. If they are on this team, they should have the skill sets to do this.

Everyone must come to practice prepared (see Team Rider Checklist in “Documents” for complete listing)
Mountain bike that is ready to ride (ABCDE)
Helmet, Closed toe shoes
Tube, Tools, Pump
Water and snack
Extra Clothes (jacket/arm warmers)
Hand Sanitizer
Medication for self administration (inhalers, epi pens)
PPE such as Masks/Buff or other face covering (i.e. for mechanical, first aid assistance, when social distancing isn’t possible).
Coaches: Disposable gloves for mechanical, first aid assistance (required for coaches).

Student-Athletes and Coaches cannot share equipment, water, or food.
