Just in case you have missed the Oregon League’s newsletter (SingleTrack Times)…

Here are the race dates and locations. Remember, that as a team, we pre ride the course, the day before, so please make sure you include the day prior in your plans, when you mark your calendar. Even if you don’t want to race, that is okay. You can still pre ride with the team, hang out and camp with the team, and support and cheer your team mates on.

Also, most of these venues all have camping options, at the venue, or really really close. It would be awesome if everyone could camp, as these evenings are when our team members, coaches, and parents get together and hang out, eat together (potlucks!). Even if you don’t want to camp, do plan on hanging out with the team the night before our race. Some of these venues also are great places to ride, and we will put information on where to ride, and possibly set up some family/coach rides, if interested.

We are a “South Conference” team.

2023 Race Venues Race 1 – Prineville
Aug 26 – North Conference – race day / Pre Ride for South Conference
Aug 27 – South Conference – race day

Race 2 – Klamath Falls
Sept 8 (Fri) – Pre Ride for South Conference
Sept 9 – South Conference – race day
Sept 10 – North Conference – race day

Race 3 – Newport
Sept 23 – North Conference – race day / Pre Ride for South Conference
Sept 24 – South Conference – race day

Race 4 – Madras
Oct 6 (Fri) – Pre Ride for South Conference
Oct 7 – South Conference – race day
Oct 8 – North Conference – race day

State Champs – Prineville
Oct 21 – pre ride day for both conferences
Oct 22 – Qualifying students from both conferences

To qualify for the State Championship race, you must START in three races.
All Seniors automatically qualify for the State Championship race.

Parents – there are lots of opportunities to volunteer and participate in the race activities too! Once I get info, I will forward.
