KTA - May Newsletter

24 May 2022 by Lillian Schiavo

Below is a link to KTA’s May newsletter. One of our own athletes, Matt Holliday is featured in this month’s newsletter. I recognize the last names of the young journalists, whom seem to share the same last names of two of our team members (Wilson and Farris).

Kudos to Matt, who also finished first in his first Super D race in Mt.Hood in the under 18 category. Although our team doesn’t specifically train for Super D and Enduro race formats, the fitness gained and bike handling skills does help. Matt does spend a lot of time training on his own and has attended several skills clinics in the past few years.

PS. If you or your family hasn’t become a member of KTA, please do. Membership size and trailwork, and support, allows KTA to get grant dollars to develop and maintain our local trails. With out KTA and it’s members, we wouldn’t have Spence or the maintained trails at Moore Park. Student membership is only $10/year & Family membership is $30/year.
